OwnerI’m passionate about helping people understand that mental health is about so much more than what happens inside the mind. My educational background reflects that belief. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and in Lifestyle Medicine and I am Boarded in Lifestyle Medicine, with additional certification as a NAET Practitioner. My counseling work is grounded in a biopsychosocial perspective, integrating psychological, biological, relational, and lifestyle factors to better understand the whole person.
My vision for functional mental health grew from a desire to bridge the gap between traditional mental health care and the many biological and lifestyle factors that influence how we think, feel, and function. I believe symptoms are worth listening to—not simply managing. Sleep, nutrition, movement, stress physiology, relationships, nervous system regulation, life experiences, and individual biology can all play meaningful roles in mental health. My goal is to help people move beyond simply asking, “What’s wrong with me?” and toward asking, “What is my mind and body trying to tell me, and what do I need to thrive?”
Outside of my professional life, I’m a wife and mom, and my family is a huge part of who I am. My family and I live on a family farm and raise regenerative beef for direct-to-consumer purposes. Life outside of work keeps me grounded and reminds me that being human is messy, beautiful, demanding, and often hilarious.
